DISCOVER WHO YOU ARE THROUGH THE EXPERIENCE OF WHO YOU ARE, IN YOGA, IN MOVEMENT, IN LIFE.

Intelligent, inclusive and enlivening yoga for a healthy, resilient, awake body and mind.

We offer a skillful blend of movement, asana (yoga poses), meditation, philosophy, psychology and science as technologies for acquiring an integrated sense of strength, ease and connectivity in the human form. We meet on that mat as a place to discover your own innate capacity to step into a life that is in flow, where you can thrive in every layer your being and take that awakened mind out into world.

Hey curious one, I’m thrilled you’re here!

Thank you for your time to investigate RISE YOGA as an option for you to deepen your yoga practice, and enliven what you want in your life.

I’m Adele: mover, educator, and creator of Rise in Movement. I’ve been waiting for you. The YOU that’s amazing, radiant and filled with potential. The one that for some reason (or ten!) you’ve forgotten about, because right now you’re feeling less-than, tired, busy, stressed, but you know life has more to offer you and you have more to offer life. And you’re ready for it. Well, you’ve come to the right place, because this is the place where we make that happen. Through movement. Through community. Through self-study.

I believe that what is inside you is special and is here for a reason. But here’s the harsh truth – it’s no longer acceptable to ignore the very reality of you being here. It’s no longer acceptable to have a passive relationship with your body, yourself, or your life.

I ignored my body and it dealt me a life-altering blow of bowel cancer when I was just 25 years old. I won’t dare let you ignore, deny or misappropriate yours. It’s just not worth it.
My mission with Rise in Movement is to help you remember who you are – or discover who you want to be – and to clear out whatever is in your way so that you are connected to, and move from, the wisdom of within your whole self every day.

For myself, and for you, I’ve done much research, exploration and experimentation to restore wellbeing, heal, work skilfully with my mind, and find what gives me meaning and purpose. I’ve also done an immeasurable amount of research, experimentation and practice when it comes to yoga – the tradition, the styles, the different tools and methods. I also know what it’s like to feel intimidated, or that you’re not good enough, bendy enough or spiritual enough too. This is my journey, it’s your journey. Here’s the one thing you need to know: you don’t need to be any particular level in your yoga practice when you take this journey with me. Going to a yoga class or your usual fitness session is great, but I’m talking simple daily practices, to support an impactful and lasting shift in your relationship to life.

THE GREATEST NEED OF OUR TIME…
I believe it is to change our relationship to ourselves, and in that change our relationship to others and the environment in which we create. This comes through embodiment. I’m here to help you with your embodiment. I am here to guide you towards uncovering and feeling the fullness of your power. To experience more intimate connections and relashionships. To create space for greater opportunities to come about within your life, and have the courage to accept them and create the changes you want.

“be softer with you.
you are a breathing thing.
a memory to someone.
a home to a life.”

— Nayyirah Waheed

Yoga, it’s simple really: Breathe. Be present. Arrive into your Self beneath all of the distractions. Recognise your potential, your power, and step up to it. You are capable. (Note! At no point do I mention putting your leg behind your head or fancy circus tricks).

My practice has taught me many things, of which you can read about here. In a nutshell it gave me the gift of embodiment, and in that, a vital and resilient body and mind. It guided me to trust the process, no matter what ugliness life threw at me. It allowed me to free up energy by being ok with what is, accepting and content, while having an empowering vision for the future. It reminds me every day to celebrate here, now. That’s what I hope for you too.

Discover the potential of your body for awakening.
Live with more freedom and ease.
Express your unique gifts and purpose as a being
Go deeper into your relationship with yourself
Go deeper into the practice of Yoga, and what that really means for you.I welcome you on your unique journey with yoga and with yourself.

LOVE Adele XOXO

"I had only taken a handful of yoga classes and typically at a gym as a supplement to working out. Adele was incredible. I loved how each class was unique and taught me something new about my mind, body and soul. She was so motivational and always provided at least one inspirational idea I took away from class. I have a newfound love with yoga and am searching for a studio at home. I’m afraid Adele has ruined me forever finding anything to compare to her sessions."
